About me:

I have been an animal lover since i was a child.  I was one of those kids that brought home pets all the time.  For my 11th birthday my uncle gave me a gift certificate for a year of private dog obedience lessons. I doubt he realized the great impact that would have later in my life.  

 

My kids joined 4H and my youngest daughter jumped into the Dog Project immediately. I volunteered to be our club's Dog Project Leader and trained the kids and their dogs for our club.  I also started judging 4H Agility at various county fairs. My kids also showed rabbits.

 

My daughter wasn't content with just  4H training so she begged me for more training.  We started taking dog obedience and agility at a local dog training facility where I later became an instructor. We both put AKC obedience titles on our dogs as well as titles from several specialty clubs.

 

I also volunteered working with dog rescue groups and demonstrating at school events.
